51ĘÓƵ at Lafayette students, alumni and football fans won’t have to wait until the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns square off against the Arkansas State Red Wolves to enjoy Homecoming 2020.
The game will kick off at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7, at Cajun Field. First, however, a pep rally, scavenger hunt and decorating contests are among activities planned for Homecoming Week. “Timeless Traditions” is the Homecoming 2020 theme.
The week will begin with the event from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 1. Student organizations can sign up to paint a window of the UL Lafayette Student Union.
Later that day, the will be held from 4-6:30 p.m. at Rock ’n’ Bowl de Lafayette, 905 Jefferson St. Attendees will bowl and enjoy refreshments. Registration is $25 per person.
The fun will continue on Monday, Nov. 2, when a begins at noon. Students will have several days to search for small, University-themed footballs hidden at various spots across campus. The most-successful hunters will earn prizes from the

On Tuesday, Nov. 3, will feature two showings of the film “Invisible Man.” The curtain will rise at 7 p.m. and again at 9:30 p.m. Both showings will be held in the green space between Baker Hall and the Taft Street parking garage.
Also Tuesday, businesses participating in the competition will earn a chance at bragging rights. Photos of their displays of Ragin’ Cajun spirit and pride must be submitted by day’s end to be considered for a first- or second-place finish in interior and exterior decorating categories. University supporters are encouraged to be on the look out for displays, especially on Wednesday, Nov. 4, which is Paint the Town Red Day. The competition is sponsored by the
