âI always tell the kids I coach that itâs OK if you want to get into the workforce, but you have to get an education. Whether itâs online, on campus, I donât care. Just get an education.â
âOnline worked so much better for me, because I can sit in a classroom and not get anything from it. But put me in a curriculum, tell me to go do the work for myself and do the reading, and I can pick up on it. But compared to in-person classes, you have to be a go getter, or it's just not going to come to you.â
âWith online classes, if I get it, I can go through it faster. And if I don't get it, I can take more time and figure it out, you know? So, working at my own pace helped with not getting too bored or not getting too behind.â
âI was really wanting to go back to school, but I was working full time at a job that I love. When I saw the online management program, it was just perfect for me, especially because I live an hour away. It was almost like fate. UL Lafayette had just started the program and that's exactly what I needed.â
